I am writing to you with regards to the wedding cake my wife and I purchased for our wedding on August 29th, 2009. Our experience with you from our initial contact to your sharing of pictures of our cake after the wedding has been nothing short of exceptional. I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for your service and professionalism, and to let you know we will refer anyone looking for special occasion cakes to you in the years to come.

As a reminder, our wedding included 175 guests from all over the world. My wife and I were very diligent in the selection of our cake provider, and you exceeded our expectations every step off the way. You were prompt in answering our initial inquiries, flexible with regards to appointment bookings, and very competitive on price given the complexity of our order. The combination of your knowledge, professionalism, and focus on service leave you unmatched in our opinion. Not to mention, the cake was gorgeous and absolutely delicious! Our discerning guests travelled from Denmark, France, Germany, Mexico, and the Netherlands, as well as from all over Canada and the United States. Each of our guests was blown away by our cake, with the number of people attempting to photograph the cake being the only thing that kept our guests from immediately devouring it.

We truly feel that we lucked out by finding someone as talented, professional, and friendly as you to prepare the cake we shared with our friends and family on our special day. We not only look forward to referring our friends to you in the future whenever they are looking for a speciality cake, but also ordering from you again sometime in the future ourselves!

The baptism cake was absolutely beautiful! When I first saw the cake it literally took my breath away. Along with all my guests, we were in awe at the beauty and detail of the cake. Your ability to bring to life the baptism invitation was amazing. Many photos were taken by the cake. Baby Cristian and his cake were the centre of attention. Even the restaurant owner commented at the beauty of the cake, and he sees a lot of cakes.

Not only did you create a feast for the eyes, but for our tummies as well. I had the restaurant serve all my guests a piece each of the almond and chocolate cake. The cakes were absolutely delicious. The raspberry buttercream filing tasted so fresh and the fondant was delectable. Even a day later, the cakes were as delicious as ever. My 5 year old keeps commenting that they are the best cakes he’s ever eaten. He has asked me to order his birthday cake from you. I will gladly oblige him next April.

Thank you for creating such a beautiful and delicious baptismal cake. It made Cristian’s baptism so special and memorable. We will always be grateful.

The cake presented for my birthday was a delightful summer basket, adorned with incredibly realistic gum paste peonies and other flowers; the top filled with fresh berries. The craftsmanship was so exquisite, it felt almost criminal to cut into the cake to eat it. But eat it we did and the inside was as wonderful as the outside.

This was my first time ordering a special cake and Genevieve truly captured what I was looking for, right down to the personal touch of adding the letter “R” to the purse. The next time I need a special cake I know who to call as Genevieve truly has the gift of a fine Artist.

I LOVED The cake, if I can call it that. It was more of an edible art masterpiece. It looked so fantastic and spot on to Gizmo in the movies that I didn’t want to cut into it. Everyone wanted pictures of the cake before it was sliced. Most importantly, once we dug in it was delicious and easily one of the best cakes I’ve ever had both in looks and taste. Days later everyone is still talking about it and I find myself still looking at photos. It was definitely the life of the party. Thank you for creating a birthday memory I’ll never forget.

Genevieves’ cakes are not only wonderful to look at and delicious to eat, but they are definitely one-of-a-kind creations. Recently, for my birthday, a very special cake was made which looked exactly like a basket of apples. In fact, at first glance, I didn’t even realize that it was a cake! The basket was actually a 3 layer apple spice cake. The detailed wood markings on the icing were amazing – right down to the staple marks on the rim of the the basket. On top, a cluster of glistening red candy apples were strategically placed, and the bottom of the basket sat nestled in a patch of green ‘grass’. A true country creation! I was absolutely delighted with my cake but the best part of all was watching the reaction of my family and friends as they came in to see and take pictures of the cake. It got more attention than I did!! Thanks Genevieve for helping to make my 50th birthday party such a memorable one.
