Not only can you walk into our bakery and selection from a wide variety of cupcake flavours and walk out with one to eat on the way home or a dozen for a special event but you can order custom cupcakes.
We do custom cupcakes for all occasions whether it’s a child’s or adult’s birthday, a bridal or baby shower, engagement, wedding, bachelorette party or graduation. If you can think of an occasion we can make a custom cupcake.
Custom cupcakes can range from $3.50 each for simply adding writing or numbers to $25 for having an edible, hand-sculpted race car on top. The cost is determined by the amount of work which goes into the custom items for each cupcake.
We also sell cupcake stands/towers to display anywhere from 30-300 cupcakes for your event. Stands range from $25 – $65 depending on the size.
There is no minimum order for customized cupcakes and we deliver within Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Oakville…wherever your budget allows!
Recently we have had the opportunity to create many cakes for birthdays and weddings with specific city themes like Paris, New York and Toronto as well as general travel.
If you’re finding it difficult to come up with a design for a special occasion cake then why not look at where you’re from, where you live and where you’ve enjoyed traveling. Not every cake has to be a boring/typical round or square cake! It’s always more fun to have a cake look like the Eiffel Tower, the Statue of Liberty, Ayers Rock, or a famous skyscraper!
Whether you have a friend who is originally from Australia and is celebrating a birthday, are hosting a famous musician visiting Toronto for his 80th birthday, having a Parisian theme wedding, got engaged in NYC, have a coworker moving out of the country or want a celebration cake to reflect your many travels we can design a cake to suit your need.
As cupcakes are becoming the new trend for all occasions we offer custom cupcakes to suit your needs. From engagement gifts to weddings, birthdays and celebrating a new job we can design for you the perfect cupcakes presentation.
For The Love of Cake Custom Creations is opening their first bakery location in Liberty Village at 171 East Liberty St suite 117 at the corner of East Liberty and Hannah. The store is to open January 2010 and will offer custom cakes, gourmet cupcakes, fair trade coffee and tea and other beverages.

Fun, colourful yet elegant wedding cakes are the hot ticket. A traditional, simple white cake seems to be becoming a thing of the past. Couples are now opting for modern, sophisticated works of art to wow their guests and stay in everyone’s memory for years to come. If you want flowers then we can make them out of gum paste to match your bouquet or center pieces. This can be a better option then real flowers being that live flowers are not meant to be eaten and may have harmful chemical sprays on them or tiny insects hiding amongst their petals just waiting for an opportunity to emerge. No matter your theme or colour scheme you and your cake designer can come up with a custom creation to perfectly suit your special occasion. Below are some photos of recent wedding cake we have had the pleasure of creating. Located in Liberty Village just west of downtown Toronto we deliver to all surrounding areas including (but not limited to) Mississauga, Etobicoke, Oakville, Hamilton, Milton, Brampton, Thonhill, Richmond Hill, Markham, Scarborough, Pickering.
Today cakes don’t have to be simply round or square. They don’t even have to look like a cake! Your special occasion cake can look like a purse, a pair of shoes, a chair and ottoman, a stack of books, a bushel of apples or a basket of summery fruit. The possibilities are endless just let your imagination go wild. We always take pride in our cakes when people walk into a room and can’t tell where the cake is when they’re staring right at it. That’s when we’ve done our job right when the bushel of apple cake doesn’t even look like a cake at all but a nice decor item in someone’s country home. Below are some photos of novelty/carved cakes we’ve had fun working on recently. Make sure to also check out our other blogs on Birthday, Wedding and Occasion cakes for other novelty ideas.

Over the last couple of months we have done some really fun birthday cakes from a Real Madrid soccer jersey that was for a small group of 20 people to a giant Aladdin’s Castle cake for a little boys first birthday. Custom cakes are no longer thought of as just for weddings but are ordered now for every occasion, especially birthdays. Of course we get orders for all birthdays but the majority are for the “mile stone” birthdays; 1, 16, 21, 25, 30, 40, 50, 60…etc Who says you have to get a traditional cake any more? You can have anything you want from WWE wrestling cake for your son to a purse or shoe cake for your best friend. Having a difficult time deciding on an idea? Then just ask your self what the birthday girl/boy likes…is it a particular movie, sport or hobby? What do they do for work? What are their favourite colours? From this you and your cake designer can come up with the perfect and cake to suit the occasion. Below are a few photos of the birthday cakes we have had the pleasure of doing.

As there are so many of us that love to shop what better item to have on your cake then a shoe! From Prada to Jimmy Choo and Manolo Blahnik to Valentino you can show off your style in cake! This time you get to be the designer by choosing the colour, style, heel height and adornments. All shoes are handmade out of edible gumpaste and customized for your event. If you want to go even further then add in a Louis Vuitton or Gucci purse cake!
Gumpaste flowers can add an elegant and delicate element to any cake. Although sugar flowers can be costly, as they are timely to create, they can add that WOW factor for your special event. Depending on your theme, colours and time of year you can choose from Gerber Daisies, Sunflowers, Roses, Peonies, Hydrangea, Violets, Hollyhocks, Calla Lilies, Petunias and many more seasonal flowers. All of our gumpaste flowers are created by hand so they are uniquely yours.
The following photos are of a “Summery Basket” cake that was ordered for a surprise 40th birthday party in June 2009 held at the Toronto Lawn tennis Club. The cake was decadent almond cake with fresh mixed berries and raspberry buttercream filling.
On Sunday, May 31st I entered in The Cake Show, hosted by The Bonnie Gordon School and held at the Artscape Wychwood Barns in Toronto. Although neither of my cakes won
(only 1st place cakes were announced) I did get quite the recgonition from both the judges and attendees. As this was my first competition I had no idea what to expect…just wait till next year!
Here are the two cakes that I entered. The “Wedding Dress” was entered in the wedding category and the “57 Corvette” was entered in the groom cake category. Make sure to check out our full
